Representative Projects

Vernonia Schools UGB Amendment

Winterbrook provided pro bono assistance to the City of Vernonia preparing findings for an Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) amendment that allowed the placement of a new school outside of the floodplain.

Leach Botanical Garden Master Plan

As a pro-bono project, Winterbrook assisted with the preparation of the 2008 Leach Botanical Garden Master Plan. Tim Brooks served on the Master Plan Steering Committee, providing programming, design, and natural resource planning assistance for Portland Parks and Recreation.

Neighborhood Advocacy

Winterbrook works with neighborhoods and community groups to ensure compliance with comprehensive plans and statewide planning goals.

President, Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association

Greg Winterowd serves as OAPA president and also chairs the Emerging Issues Committee for the APA Chapter Presidents Council.

Sunnyside Neighborhood Association

Tim Brooks serves as President of the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association.

Development Review Advisory Committee

Tim served on the City of Portland DRAC for several years.

LCDC Goal 14 and Affordable Housing Committees

Greg served on two state-level committees helping to draft safe harbors for residential density and mix and addressing the effectiveness of Oregon's housing goal in reducing housing costs.
