Winterbrook led the land use and environmental permitting tasks for the historic redevelopment of open water features in the Washington Park Reservoirs Historic District.
Parks and Open Spaces
Winterbrook works with local communities and public agencies to craft parks and open space plans. We prepare planning and environmental studies for public parks, botanical gardens, natural areas, wildlife refuges, open spaces and trail systems. We are strong advocates for community involvement, which often is the key to project success.

On behalf of Metro, Winterbrook prepared a first-of-its-kind Comprehensive Natural Resources Plan for the 2,100-acre Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area in North Portland.
Winterbrook secured historic preservation, greenway and design approvals for the new Saturday Market site in Portland's Waterfront Park.
Winterbrook is part of a team led by Land Morphology that was recently selected to complete the design of the Upper Garden at Leach Botanical Garden.
