American Planning Association / Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association / Latinos and Planning

Greg Winterowd served on the OAPA board for five years from 2007-2011.  As president, he helped organize the chapter’s first annual conference in 20 years, represented OAPA before the state legislature and planning policy committees, recruited international speakers to Oregon conferences, organized Metro Council President and Portland Mayoral candidates forums, and served as chair of the Chapter Presidents Council’s “Emerging Issues Committee.”  He is particularly proud of his work with the Latinos and Planning Division of the APA, where he spoke at the National Diversity Summit in New Orleans and moderated a discussion panel in Los Angeles.
